trauma teddies

Trauma Teddies was a project to make 50 knitted teddies which are to be carried by local police officers on duty in their patrol cars and based at police stations. The teddies are given children who may have experienced something that is a bit traumatic. It could be that they have been involved in a road accident or been lost in a public place and these teddies are to provide them a little bit of comfort.

Elaine Parsons presented PC Andy Cox with the teddies knitted by the congregation of BBC and friends.

Secretary Bette Bolton was handcuffed for a short time, but was released later for good behaviour!!!
